• Preparation: The sister prepares a Puja Thali with a Diya, Kumkum (Tilak), Akshat (Rice), Sweets, and the Rakhi thread.
• The Ritual: The sister applies Tilak on the brother's forehead, performs an Aarti, and ties the Rakhi on his right wrist.
• The Vow: The brother offers a gift to the sister and pledges to protect her throughout her life.

What To Do (Do's)

• Ensure the brother faces East or North while tying the Rakhi.
• Use a clean, silk thread or authentic Rakhi.
